Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.10%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.10%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 8.14% or 657 points to trade at 8725 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 3.23% or 101 points to end at 3230 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 3.20% or 36 points to 1162 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 5.07% or 1030 points to trade at 19300 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 1.96% or 450 points to end at 22500 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.83% or 126 points to 6765.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 289 to 192 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.32% or 2.34 to $68.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.58% or 1.87 to hit $70.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.85 to trade at $1813.25 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.2154, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 3.8045.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 92.282.
