Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.90%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.90% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 7.47% or 740 points to trade at 10650 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 4.67% or 330 points to end at 7400 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 4.44% or 530 points to 12480 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which fell 1.20% or 118 points to trade at 9684 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) declined 0.98% or 73 points to end at 7357 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 0.35% or 10 points to 2820.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 357 to 151 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.67% or 330 to 7400.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.66% or 2.86 to $81.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.19% or 2.58 to hit $83.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 16.20 to trade at $1815.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.52% to 3.1144, while EUR/ILS fell 0.34% to 3.5329.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 95.710.
