Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.61%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.61% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 5.95% or 203.00 points to trade at 3,617.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 5.80% or 63.00 points to end at 1,149.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 4.16% or 324.00 points to 8,120.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 1.65% or 600.00 points to trade at 35,670.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 0.89% or 450.00 points to end at 49,910.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 0.57% or 90.00 points to 15,760.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 355 to 152 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.95% or 203.00 to 3,617.00.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.57% or 1.40 to $90.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.50% or 1.42 to hit $96.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 12.65 to trade at $1,803.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 1.08% to 3.31, while EUR/ILS fell 0.86% to 3.38.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 106.18.
