Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.48%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.48%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 7.63% or 61.20 points to trade at 863.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 5.62% or 57.00 points to end at 1,072.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was up 4.76% or 114.00 points to 2,509.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 1.66% or 1,300.00 points to trade at 76,800.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 0.62% or 90.00 points to end at 14,440.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 0.54% or 170.00 points to 31,530.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 315 to 156 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.90% or 0.72 to $80.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.49% or 0.42 to hit $86.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.85 to trade at $1,855.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 1.90% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS fell 1.39% to 3.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 104.20.
