Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.39%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.39%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 6.97% or 34.20 points to trade at 525.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 5.50% or 3,560.00 points to end at 68,260.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 4.35% or 1,230.00 points to 29,500.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which fell 3.03% or 1,800.00 points to trade at 57,600.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 1.50% or 20.00 points to end at 1,315.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 0.13% or 20.00 points to 15,160.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 358 to 132 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.50% or 20.00 to 1,315.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.15% or 1.73 to $82.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.25% or 1.09 to hit $88.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 3.20% or 56.35 to trade at $1,816.25 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.40, while EUR/ILS rose 0.54% to 3.56.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.00% at 104.83.
