Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.35%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.35%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 9.46% or 100.00 points to trade at 1,157.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) added 7.40% or 324.00 points to end at 4,700.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 5.91% or 1,570.00 points to 28,120.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which fell 2.64% or 370.00 points to trade at 13,620.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 2.16% or 1,720.00 points to end at 78,000.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was down 1.88% or 570.00 points to 29,790.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 320 to 154 and 43 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.88% or 570.00 to 29,790.00.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.55% or 2.70 to $108.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.25% or 2.45 to hit $111.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 5.60 to trade at $1,812.90 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.93% to 3.53, while EUR/ILS rose 0.42% to 3.68.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 104.88.
