Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.10%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.10%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 3.08% or 700.00 points to trade at 23,450.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) added 2.92% or 330.00 points to end at 11,630.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.73% or 940.00 points to 35,330.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 1.63% or 51.00 points to trade at 3,081.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.29% or 69.00 points to end at 5,260.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was down 1.21% or 130.00 points to 10,590.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 271 to 187 and 31 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.82% or 2.11 to $72.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.58% or 2.08 to hit $78.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 5.55 to trade at $1,910.95 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.01% to 3.88.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 103.29.
