Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.05%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.05%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 5.89% or 523 points to trade at 9400 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) added 3.71% or 390 points to end at 10900 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 3.36% or 125 points to 3850 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 3.45% or 319 points to trade at 8921 at the close. Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) declined 2.64% or 320 points to end at 11800 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 1.89% or 10.5 points to 545.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 359 to 157 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.48% or 0.42 to $87.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.31% or 0.28 to hit $88.88 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 8.85 to trade at $1810.35 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.1705, while EUR/ILS rose 0.61% to 3.5853.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 95.950.
