Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.90%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.90% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 5.36% or 1,790.00 points to trade at 35,180.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 4.85% or 41.00 points to end at 886.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 4.17% or 223.00 points to 5,572.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 1.92% or 32.00 points to trade at 1,638.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.72% or 1,370.00 points to end at 78,400.00 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was down 0.59% or 20.00 points to 3,393.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 277 to 215 and 31 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.98% or 2.74 to $94.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.55% or 2.48 to hit $99.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 8.40 to trade at $1,805.30 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.55% to 3.24, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 3.35.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 104.85.
