Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.76%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.76% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 4.04% or 304 points to trade at 7824 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 2.39% or 89 points to end at 3810 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was up 2.24% or 79 points to 3608 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 2.21% or 280 points to trade at 12400 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 1.98% or 28 points to end at 1386 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 1.97% or 1730 points to 86110.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 301 to 198 and 29 ended unchanged.

Shares in Harel (TASE:HARL) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.39% or 89 to 3810. Shares in Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) rose to all time highs; rising 2.24% or 79 to 3608.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.30% or 0.25 to $82.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.07% or 0.06 to hit $84.61 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 6.35 to trade at $1820.95 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.1133, while EUR/ILS rose 0.34% to 3.5687.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 94.760.
