Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.57%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.57%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 4.41% or 232.00 points to trade at 5,487.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) added 3.44% or 129.00 points to end at 3,880.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 3.09% or 1,450.00 points to 48,300.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which fell 2.42% or 221.00 points to trade at 8,929.00 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 2.17% or 11.50 points to end at 517.50 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 1.35% or 31.00 points to 2,270.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 289 to 182 and 73 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.09% or 1,450.00 to 48,300.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $81.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $84.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 6.65 to trade at $1,971.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.02% to 3.78, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.13.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 103.07.
