Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.19%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.19%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 4.74% or 195.00 points to trade at 4,309.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) added 3.35% or 460.00 points to end at 14,200.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 2.92% or 6,230.00 points to 219,230.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 3.94% or 6,350.00 points to trade at 154,950.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 3.59% or 114.00 points to end at 3,061.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 1.57% or 950.00 points to 59,550.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 231 and 41 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.74% or 195.00 to 4,309.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.71% or 1.48 to $88.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.78% or 1.65 to hit $94.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 14.85 to trade at $1,743.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 1.24% to 3.36, while EUR/ILS fell 0.31% to 3.41.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 107.94.
