Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.02%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.02% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 2.29% or 330 points to trade at 14760 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 1.49% or 41 points to end at 2787 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 1.40% or 330 points to 23820 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 3.31% or 49 points to trade at 1433 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) declined 1.40% or 133 points to end at 9366 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 1.36% or 390 points to 28330.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 226 and 37 ended unchanged.

Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.49% or 41 to 2787.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.97% or 0.79 to $82.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.99% or 0.82 to hit $83.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 8.30 to trade at $1825.10 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.12% to 3.1126, while EUR/ILS rose 0.33% to 3.6072.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 94.032.
