Intuit Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3

Intuit announced earnings per share of $7.65 on revenue of $5.63B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $7.58 on revenue of $5.51B. Including the addition of Mailchimp, the company’s revenue rose 35%.

Shares of the software company have jumped over 4% aftermarket following its fiscal third-quarter earnings release.

“We are confident in our strategy and execution across the company as we become the global AI-driven expert platform powering the prosperity of consumers and small businesses,” said Sasan Goodarzi, Intuit’s chief executive officer.

“We had another strong quarter, and we are raising Intuit’s revenue and operating income guidance for fiscal year 2022,” added Goodarzi.

The company raised revenue guidance for fiscal 2022 to between $12.63 billion to $12.67 billion, representing growth of approximately 31% to 32%, up from previous guidance for growth of 26% to 28%. Adjusted earnings per share are now expected to be between $11.68 and $11.74.
