At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX added 0.05%, while the MDAX index fell 0.75%, and the TecDAX index lost 1.60%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were Siemens AG Class N (DE:SIEGn), which rose 4.72% or 6.52 points to trade at 144.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Linde PLC (DE:LINI) added 3.02% or 8.000 points to end at 272.500 and Bayer AG NA (DE:BAYGN) was up 2.42% or 1.29 points to 54.59 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delivery Hero AG (DE:DHER), which fell 30.04% or 20.08 points to trade at 46.76 at the close. HelloFresh SE (DE:HFGG) declined 6.17% or 3.34 points to end at 50.82 and Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:SATG_p) was down 2.20% or 9.900 points to 439.100.
The top performers on the MDAX were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (DE:PSMGn) which rose 1.80% to 14.4300, Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC (DE:AT1) which was up 1.30% to settle at 5.610 and Evonik Industries AG (DE:EVKn) which gained 1.20% to close at 29.400.
The worst performers were Bechtle AG (DE:BC8G) which was down 10.51% to 46.410 in late trade, Evotec AG O.N. (DE:EVTG) which lost 5.29% to settle at 28.830 and TeamViewer AG (DE:TMV) which was down 3.92% to 15.44 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Siltronic AG (DE:WAFGn) which rose 1.13% to 116.800, Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:MORG) which was up 0.83% to settle at 27.830 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:IFXGn) which gained 0.03% to close at 34.165.
The worst performers were Bechtle AG (DE:BC8G) which was down 10.51% to 46.410 in late trade, Suse SA (DE:SUSEG) which lost 5.52% to settle at 27.40 and Evotec AG O.N. (DE:EVTG) which was down 5.29% to 28.830 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 395 to 286 and 91 ended unchanged.

The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 0.43% to 20.94.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.01% or 0.25 to $1836.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.84% or 0.75 to hit $90.41 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 0.47% or 0.43 to trade at $91.98 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.42% to 1.1470, while EUR/GBP fell 0.17% to 0.8424.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 95.345.
