Investing.com – General Motors (NYSE:) reported third quarter that beat analysts’ expectations on Tuesday and revenue that fell short of forecasts.
The firm reported earnings per share of $1.72 on revenue of $35.47M. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $1.38 on revenue of $34.95B. That compared to EPS of $1.87 on revenue of $35.8B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.64 on revenue of $36.1B in the previous quarter.
General Motors shares gained 1.53% to trade at $37.20 in pre-market trade following the report.
