Last week, the company announced price hikes for the Mustang Mach-E in the UK, with the base price rising by £6,200 ($8,000) for the Standard Range RWD model. Ford UK cited a dramatic increase in material and energy costs for the price increases.

Due to the vehicle’s popularity, The company said in December that it will triple Mach-E production in Mexico by 2023.

Meanwhile, CEO Jim Farley tweeted on April 13th that the Ford F-150 Lightning production will kick off next week.
