The cutting-edge “AITech Luxury” electric vehicle, distinguished by its hypercar performance, opulent sedan comfort, and adaptable SUV features, has now been handed over to its first owner.

Faraday Future achieved a significant milestone as the initial production FF91 EV emerged from the assembly line at its ieFactory located in California this past May where the company showcased a special “Futurist Alliance” edition, priced at an impressive $309,000, surpassing the cost of the Lucid Air Sapphire which is valued at $249,000.

With three electric engines under its hood, the Futurist Alliance edition packs a punch with up to 1,050 hp and 1,977 Nm of torque. This means it can go from 0 to 60 mph in a lightning-fast 2.27 seconds. The vehicle’s 142 kWh battery lets it roll for an impressive 381 miles according to the EPA.

This delivery also signifies the commencement of its revenue generation phase and the establishment of a comprehensive operational framework.

Faraday Future announced that the Futurist Alliance model will have a global production limit of 300 units, each requiring a $5,000 deposit at the end of May. As an added perk, all FF91 2.0 Futurist Alliance edition owners will enjoy special training for track-time driving and receive an Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) Watch featuring vehicle control functionalities.

Coinciding with the achievement of the initial vehicle delivery milestone, the Developer Co-Creation Festival series of events was officially launched. As part of the event, Faraday is set to participate in the “FuelRun” event scheduled for August 16 and 17, as well as “Motorlux” on August 16, both of which are taking place during the Monterey Car Week.

On August 17, a Developer Co-Creation signing ceremony will be held, bringing together Developer Co-Creators, including the first Phase-2 Co-Creation delivery recipients, and potential Developer Co-Creation candidates.

Shares of FFIE are up 2.06% in afternoon trading on Monday.
