Dow futures trade flat, fresh inflation data in focus

By 6:35pm ET (10:35pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures and S&P 500 Futures were flat while Nasdaq 100 Futures ticked 0.1% higher.

Ahead in the week, market participants will be monitoring CPI, PPI, retail sales, business and retail inventories, import and export price indexes, the NY Empire State manufacturing index, industrial production, and preliminary Michigan consumer expectations and sentiment.

Among earnings this week, companies including Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL), Caseys General Stores Inc (NASDAQ:CASY), InnovAge Holding Corp (NASDAQ:INNV), Burford Capital Ltd (NYSE:BUR), Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) and Lennar Corporation (NYSE:LEN) are set to report quarterly results.

During Friday’s trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 75.9 points or 0.2% to close at 34,576.6, the S&P 500 lifted 6.4 points or 0.14% to 4,457.5 and the NASDAQ Composite gained 12.7 points or 0.1% to 13,761.5. For the week, the Dow lost 0.8%, the S&P 500 lost 1.2% and the NASDAQ lost 1.7%.

On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 2-week highs of 4.268%.
