Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.92%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.92%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 1.13% or 4.80 points to trade at 428.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell 0.33% or 2.40 points to end at 725.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.35% or 3.40 points to 964.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 5.68% or 12.60 points to trade at 209.30 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 5.50% or 4.20 points to end at 72.20 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 5.42% or 79.00 points to 1,378.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 114 to 40 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.13% or 4.80 to 428.70. Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.42% or 79.00 to 1,378.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.92% or 0.81 to $86.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.33% or 1.25 to hit $92.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.44% or 25.05 to trade at $1,715.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 1.21% to 7.43, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.09% at 109.27.
