Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.90%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.90%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 1.32% or 8.00 points to trade at 614.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.87% or 1.00 points to end at 116.20 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.51% or 4.40 points to 864.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 8.17% or 7.68 points to trade at 86.30 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 3.44% or 75.00 points to end at 2,103.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 3.31% or 35.50 points to 1,038.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 115 to 36 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.31% or 35.50 to 1,038.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.27% or 0.33 to $121.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.09% or 0.11 to hit $123.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 11.75 to trade at $1,844.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.57% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 102.95.
