Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.86%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.86% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 0.29% or 1.6 points to trade at 558.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) fell 0.35% or 3.4 points to end at 958.8 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 0.72% or 2.7 points to 371.3 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.43% or 20.1 points to trade at 292.7 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 3.32% or 80 points to end at 2328 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 3.35% or 20.4 points to 588.4.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 68 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.17% or 0.61 to $52.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.11% or 0.61 to hit $55.71 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 21.45 to trade at $1862.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.1243, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4374.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 90.422.
