Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.56%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.56%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 0.24% or 0.22 points to trade at 92.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell 0.45% or 4.20 points to end at 919.20 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.49% or 0.60 points to 122.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 7.86% or 20.80 points to trade at 243.80 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 4.83% or 9.65 points to end at 190.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 4.30% or 17.00 points to 378.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 49 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.86% or 20.80 to 243.80. Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; falling 0.49% or 0.60 to 122.40.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.60% or 3.18 to $91.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.09% or 2.92 to hit $97.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 12.05 to trade at $1,708.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 7.61, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 112.31.
