Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.55%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.55%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 1.13% or 30.00 points to trade at 2,682.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 0.73% or 0.95 points to end at 130.80 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 0.29% or 0.35 points to 122.45 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 24.76% or 138.50 points to trade at 420.90 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 5.25% or 8.88 points to end at 160.20 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 3.57% or 3.30 points to 89.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 48 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 3-years lows; falling 24.76% or 138.50 to 420.90.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $81.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.15% or 0.13 to hit $84.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 7.95 to trade at $1,973.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 103.00.
