Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.48%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.48%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 1.37% or 1.04 points to trade at 77.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 0.93% or 145.00 points to end at 15,745.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 0.80% or 120.00 points to 15,050.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 2.84% or 11.20 points to trade at 383.50 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.59% or 15.30 points to end at 574.60 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 2.29% or 9.80 points to 417.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 49 and 26 ended unchanged.

Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.59% or 15.30 to 574.60.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.26% or 0.22 to $84.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.52% or 0.48 to hit $92.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 10.90 to trade at $1,647.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 7.59, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 112.44.
