Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.47%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.47%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 0.71% or 0.8 points to trade at 106.7 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 0.40% or 0.55 points to end at 139.40 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was up 0.10% or 0.8 points to 826.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 4.58% or 142 points to trade at 2958 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 4.41% or 16.0 points to end at 347.0 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 2.83% or 47.5 points to 1631.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 53 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.53% or 0.39 to $73.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.62% or 0.48 to hit $77.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.65 to trade at $1751.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.3505, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4362.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 93.368.
