Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.37%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.37%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 1.50% or 8.20 points to trade at 555.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 0.86% or 1.75 points to end at 205.20 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.60% or 6.00 points to 1,006.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.33% or 14.30 points to trade at 599.90 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.27% or 2.60 points to end at 111.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 2.10% or 21.30 points to 994.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.10% or 0.85 to $76.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.73% or 0.61 to hit $82.68 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.95 to trade at $1,822.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 105.59.
