Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.31%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.31%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 0.51% or 0.70 points to trade at 139.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.04% or 0.40 points to end at 915.20 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 2,058.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 3.28% or 13.00 points to trade at 383.40 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 3.02% or 17.50 points to end at 562.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.29% or 4.70 points to 200.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 38 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.16% or 0.14 to $85.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.12% or 0.11 to hit $90.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 14.55 to trade at $2,397.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 7.02, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 106.10.
