Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.31%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.31%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 1.21% or 12.10 points to trade at 1,009.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 0.53% or 70.00 points to end at 13,355.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.49% or 2.60 points to 530.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 6.48% or 9.75 points to trade at 140.80 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.85% or 23.60 points to end at 1,251.20 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.38% or 4.20 points to 300.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 50 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell to 3-years lows; down 1.38% or 4.20 to 300.00.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.45% or 0.36 to $80.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.31% or 0.26 to hit $84.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 6.15 to trade at $1,921.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 103.30.
