Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.30%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.30%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 0.04% or 0.20 points to trade at 460.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell 0.29% or 3.00 points to end at 1,025.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.58% or 4.50 points to 766.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 5.58% or 6.25 points to trade at 105.80 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.73% or 7.52 points to end at 193.90 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.65% or 10.40 points to 274.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 53 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.65% or 10.40 to 274.50.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.72% or 1.79 to $102.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.77% or 1.92 to hit $106.41 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.78% or 15.20 to trade at $1,933.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 101.21.
