Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.29%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.29%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.29% or 32.00 points to trade at 1005.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.36% or 136 points to end at 10110 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.20% or 0.98 points to 82.34 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 3.22% or 13.7 points to trade at 411.4 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.95% or 19.6 points to end at 645.0 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 2.56% or 56.0 points to 2133.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 66 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.38% or 0.86 to $35.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.86% or 0.71 to hit $37.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 9.20 to trade at $1877.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3782, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4446.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 93.940.
