Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.25%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.25%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.12% or 2.75 points to trade at 132.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) fell 0.55% or 5.20 points to end at 932.30 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.94% or 30.00 points to 3,146.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 5.38% or 10.65 points to trade at 187.30 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 4.90% or 25.70 points to end at 498.70 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was down 4.37% or 14.20 points to 310.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 38 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.26% or 1.75 to $75.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.03% or 1.68 to hit $81.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.71% or 31.15 to trade at $1,787.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 103.99.
