Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.24%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.24%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 2.48% or 54 points to trade at 2234 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.62% or 8.4 points to end at 528.4 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 0.49% or 5.5 points to 1130.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.13% or 37.0 points to trade at 1146.5 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 2.81% or 385 points to end at 13340 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.69% or 3.1 points to 113.8.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 37 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.46% or 1.56 to $61.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.98% or 1.31 to hit $64.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.74% or 48.65 to trade at $1726.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.1349, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4352.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 90.648.
