Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.23%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.23%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 0.13% or 1.10 points to trade at 826.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) fell 0.10% or 0.60 points to end at 618.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.43% or 0.50 points to 116.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 7.92% or 9.15 points to trade at 106.30 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 5.51% or 64.50 points to end at 1,105.50 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 4.27% or 36.60 points to 821.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 113 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to 5-year highs; up 0.13% or 1.10 to 826.00. Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.51% or 64.50 to 1,105.50.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 3.75% or 3.68 to $94.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 3.87% or 3.98 to hit $98.80 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 7.10 to trade at $1,952.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 99.94.
