Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.08%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.08%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 0.57% or 4.6 points to trade at 814.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.45% or 4.4 points to end at 990.0 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was up 0.05% or 0.4 points to 737.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 4.10% or 12.6 points to trade at 294.5 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 4.01% or 7.2 points to end at 172.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 3.13% or 7.2 points to 222.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 59 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.71% or 1.34 to $79.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.26% or 1.03 to hit $82.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 2.05 to trade at $1757.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.4317, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4411.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 94.112.
