Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.93%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.93% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.55% or 8.6 points to trade at 198.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 1.34% or 37 points to end at 2794 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.64% or 7.0 points to 1104.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 6.22% or 7.75 points to trade at 116.85 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 5.30% or 46.4 points to end at 829.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 4.58% or 5.3 points to 110.4.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 129 to 30 and 9 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 9.75% or 7.64 to $70.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 8.87% or 7.29 to hit $74.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 14.60 to trade at $1798.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.79% to 6.5811, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4364.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 96.175.
