Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.89%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.89%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 2.50% or 4.84 points to trade at 198.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 1.14% or 5.40 points to end at 479.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.38% or 10.00 points to 2,672.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 4.31% or 7.55 points to trade at 167.80 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.92% or 18.50 points to end at 943.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.74% or 10.00 points to 566.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 68 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.91% or 0.71 to $78.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.73% or 0.62 to hit $85.12 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 4.40 to trade at $1,927.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.12% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK rose 0.09% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 101.93.
