Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.88%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.88%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 1.68% or 38.00 points to trade at 2,297.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.21% or 8.90 points to end at 741.90 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.85% or 1.35 points to 159.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 7.76% or 5.80 points to trade at 68.90 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 5.51% or 8.74 points to end at 149.90 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 4.16% or 19.40 points to 446.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 47 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.16% or 19.40 to 446.50.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.93% or 3.22 to $106.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.29% or 2.57 to hit $109.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 8.75 to trade at $1,808.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 7.11, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 104.65.
