Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 0.81%.

The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 3.92% or 11.1 points to trade at 294.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:) added 3.28% or 19.0 points to end at 598.5 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was up 2.99% or 3.0 points to 105.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which fell 2.44% or 23.6 points to trade at 942.4 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) declined 1.57% or 5.8 points to end at 365.9 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was down 1.42% or 11.6 points to 807.2.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.78% or 0.98 to $54.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.43% or 0.86 to hit $59.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.21% or 18.15 to trade at $1514.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.6990, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4708.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.118.
