Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.78%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.78%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 6.60% or 5.40 points to trade at 87.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.34% or 2.0 points to end at 89.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.47% or 7.2 points to 497.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 2.49% or 17.0 points to trade at 666.4 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 2.01% or 21.5 points to end at 1049.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.96% or 7.9 points to 395.3.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 62 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.50% or 0.98 to $40.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.13% or 0.88 to hit $42.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 9.85 to trade at $1910.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.3193, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4410.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.597.
