Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.78%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.78%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 1.37% or 9.00 points to trade at 666.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.08% or 4.80 points to end at 451.20 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.74% or 4.00 points to 541.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 5.48% or 18.60 points to trade at 320.60 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 5.14% or 9.10 points to end at 168.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 4.67% or 9.40 points to 192.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 119 to 39 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.22% or 1.71 to $75.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.41% or 1.99 to hit $80.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 7.35 to trade at $1,788.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 105.00.
