Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.77%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.77% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.59% or 13.50 points to trade at 389.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 0.61% or 3.50 points to end at 573.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.49% or 4.40 points to 899.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 2.24% or 210.00 points to trade at 9,145.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 2.05% or 196.00 points to end at 9,374.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 1.92% or 21.00 points to 1,074.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 54 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.02% or 0.02 to $82.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.26% or 0.23 to hit $87.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 10.35 to trade at $2,398.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 7.00, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 105.83.
