Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.74%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.74%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 1.57% or 9.20 points to trade at 595.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.89% or 9.00 points to end at 1,016.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.70% or 2.10 points to 304.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 2.40% or 19.20 points to trade at 780.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.05% or 13.60 points to end at 1,278.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.03% or 135.00 points to 12,960.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 67 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.65% or 0.51 to $79.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.83% or 0.69 to hit $84.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 11.75 to trade at $1,935.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 104.17.
