Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.71%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.71%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.32% or 2.6 points to trade at 114.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 1.16% or 2.2 points to end at 192.0 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.89% or 10.5 points to 1184.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which fell 4.36% or 33.4 points to trade at 732.2 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 3.07% or 84.0 points to end at 2650.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.45% or 5.5 points to 219.2.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 65 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.89% or 10.5 to 1184.5.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.47% or 0.36 to $76.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.66% or 0.52 to hit $79.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.01% or 37.20 to trade at $1814.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.6102, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4369.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 96.377.
