Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.69%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 2.87% or 6.4 points to trade at 229.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.49% or 7.8 points to end at 531.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 1.32% or 6.5 points to 500.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 5.16% or 151.0 points to trade at 2773.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 3.18% or 5.9 points to end at 179.7 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 3.13% or 630 points to 19500.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 75 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.51% or 0.43 to $83.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.27% or 0.23 to hit $84.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.61% or 29.45 to trade at $1860.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.63% to 6.4548, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4377.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 94.502.
