Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.69%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 2.61% or 15.00 points to trade at 590.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.03% or 3.25 points to end at 163.40 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.37% or 9.00 points to 667.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.77% or 6.00 points to trade at 210.90 at the close. Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) declined 2.12% or 4.70 points to end at 217.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.41% or 14.20 points to 996.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 73 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) rose to all time highs; up 2.61% or 15.00 to 590.00. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 2.03% or 3.25 to 163.40.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.37% or 1.79 to $77.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.93% or 1.58 to hit $83.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 9.45 to trade at $1,834.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.56.
