Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.55%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.55%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 6.71% or 34.0 points to trade at 540.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.69% or 3.4 points to end at 129.8 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.07% or 3.8 points to 187.3 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 4.38% or 105.0 points to trade at 2290.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 3.82% or 6.0 points to end at 150.9 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 3.14% or 32.5 points to 1002.5.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 73 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.69% or 3.4 to 129.8. Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.82% or 6.0 to 150.9.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.24% or 0.20 to $82.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.07% or 0.06 to hit $84.61 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 10.85 to trade at $1816.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.4884, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4408.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 94.710.
