Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.54%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.54%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.16% or 21.50 points to trade at 1016.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.72% or 4.2 points to end at 248.6 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.49% or 16.5 points to 1124.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 12.31% or 66.5 points to trade at 473.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 3.36% or 38.0 points to end at 1094.0 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 3.34% or 113 points to 3270.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 111 to 43 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.97% or 2.59 to $62.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.63% or 2.48 to hit $65.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $1784.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.3622, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4364.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 93.463.
