Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.53%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.53%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which rose 0.90% or 2.00 points to trade at 223.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.85% or 6.80 points to end at 805.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.69% or 1.10 points to 160.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 2.21% or 7.70 points to trade at 340.00 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.01% or 4.30 points to end at 209.10 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 1.96% or 9.80 points to 489.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 74 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.21% or 7.70 to 340.00. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; up 0.69% or 1.10 to 160.30.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.14% or 0.86 to $76.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.03% or 0.85 to hit $83.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 5.95 to trade at $1,820.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 105.08.
