Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.49%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.49%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which rose 3.66% or 13.00 points to trade at 368.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.75% or 4.56 points to end at 170.60 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 2.37% or 1.74 points to 75.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.97% or 19.00 points to trade at 944.40 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.29% or 5.70 points to end at 435.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.14% or 9.60 points to 829.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 70 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.12% or 1.13 to $99.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.68% or 0.73 to hit $106.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 5.85 to trade at $1,704.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 7.30, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 106.75.
